Volleyball Recap: Colby's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Colby entered their tilt with Owen-Withee on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Blackhawks. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Blackhawks on September 4th, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Colby got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 33-31, 25-16, 20-25, 25-18.

Colby's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Owen-Withee, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Colby will challenge rival Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Owen-Withee is set to face off against their familiar foe Spencer at 7:15 p.m. on the 9th.
