Ridge is 8-2 against Hillsborough since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Devil will host the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Eight must be Ridge's lucky number: they beat Rutgers Prep with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Red Devil sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Argonauts. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devil.

Meanwhile, Hillsborough hadn't done well against Montgomery recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Cougars. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Andrew Advani was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Khurana, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.

Hillsborough moved to 7-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Ridge, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 7-2.

Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Hillsborough in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 12-7. Will the Red Devil repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
