Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marquette Catholic). They blew past the Maryville Christian Lions 66-43 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Explorers have posted since December 17, 2024.

Despite the loss, Maryville Christian still got an impressive performance from Levi Gray, who posted 14 points and four steals. Gray has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jayden Huff, who went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points.

The win made it two in a row for Marquette Catholic and bumps their season record up to 8-10. As for Maryville Christian, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
