Lakewood lost against Monarch back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes.

Lakewood suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Monarch, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Lakewood has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Chatfield on the 25th. As for Monarch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Centaurus on the 25th.
