Football Game Preview: Flint Southwestern Academy Knights vs. Bendle Tigers

Flint Southwestern Academy hasn't had much luck against Bendle recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Knights will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Flint Southwestern Academy's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Atherton on Friday. They were beaten by the Wolverines 41-0. The shutout was out of character for the Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Meanwhile, Bendle suffered their biggest loss since October 4, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 34-8 to New Standard Academy. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Tigers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Bendle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Flint Southwestern Academy took a serious blow against Bendle in their previous meeting back in August of 2023, falling 36-6. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
