Sweet Springs barely beat Lone Jack the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Greyhounds blew past the Mules 11-1 on Wednesday. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Sweet Springs' victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Lone Jack, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Coming up, Sweet Springs will look to defend their home field on the 8th against Tipton at 3:00 p.m. As for Lone Jack, they will square off against Wellington-Napoleon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.48 runs per game on average), something the Mules will no doubt try to take advantage of.
