Minooka got themselves on the board against Plainfield Central on Thursday, but Plainfield Central never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 18-0 victory. Considering the Indians have won 13 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Minooka got a massive performance out of Jaelle Hamilton, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Hamilton has posted since back in March of 2024. Addisonn Crumly was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Minooka always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plainfield Central only posted an OBP of .167.

The win made it two in a row for Minooka and bumps their season record up to 23-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Plainfield Central, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-13-1.

Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plainfield Central, they will host Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
