Softball Recap: Gurdon Takes a Loss

Gurdon managed to slip by Bismarck the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gurdon Go-Devils came up short against the Bismarck Lions on Thursday, falling 13-6. The Go-Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Gurdon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bismarck, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Gurdon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-16 victory against Murfreesboro on the 7th. As for Bismarck, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Malvern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
