After a 7-1 finish the last time they played, First Baptist Academy and Out-of-Door Academy decided to play a little more cautiously this time around.
First Baptist Academy was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Kaylee Bates and
Sunny Sullivan, who scored both of First Baptist Academy's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 20 so far this season.
Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2023, Seacrest Country Day was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. Neither they nor Canterbury could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
First Baptist Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. Seacrest Country Day's draw makes their record 13-6-2 on the season.
