Softball Recap: Plainwell Comes Up Short

Plainwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Niles Vikings. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Plainwell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Seibert, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Plainwell's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Niles, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

While Plainwell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
