Football Game Preview: Bowen/Baker College Prep Boilermakers and Bobcats vs. Harlan Falcons

The Bowen/Baker College Prep Boilermakers and Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Harlan Falcons at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Thursday, Bowen/Baker College Prep was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-8 to Bogan. The loss was the Boilermakers and Bobcats' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hansberry.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bowen/Baker College Prep, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-1.

Bowen/Baker College Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Harlan when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Boilermakers and Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
