Howells-Dodge won the last time they faced Logan View/Scribner-Snyder and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jaguars blew past Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Howells-Dodge's got stronger as the match went on, holding Logan View/Scribner-Snyder to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-16.

Peyten Becker paced Howells-Dodge's offense, picking up 13 kills. Becker got some help from Riley Svehla and her 37 assists. Bella Koliha controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the defeat, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had strong showings from Hannah Schlueter, who had 14 digs and two aces, and Paityn Vacha, who had six digs and two aces.

Howells-Dodge's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Coming up, Howells-Dodge will take on Guardian Angels Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Homer at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Knights have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
