Volleyball Recap: Hot Springs Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hot Springs waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Hatch Valley Bears 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hot Springs took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-8.

Reagan Riggs paced Hot Springs' offense, picking up nine kills. Riggs got some help from Marquetta Carter and her 16 assists. Riggs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Hot Springs' win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Hatch Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Hot Springs has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Cobre on the 28th. As for Hatch Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Animas on the 24th.
