Soccer Recap: Marie Philip Takes a Loss

Marie Philip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Katzenbach School for the Deaf. That's two games in a row now that Marie Philip have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Luis Ortiz Gonzalez, who's now up to three this season.

Marie Philip's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1.

Marie Philip wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Lexington School for the Deaf on the 4th. Katzenbach School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
