White Swan had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Sunnyside Christian Knights 8-7 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since May 2, 2024.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Sunnyside Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Swan will head out to face off against Wapato at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.7 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sunnyside Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against River View at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
