Volleyball Recap: Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Comes Up Short

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 8th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-11.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering is set to face off against their familiar foe Cheney Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy will square off against rival Wolcott RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
