Basketball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Takes a Loss

Kenosha Tremper lost against Racine Park back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kenosha Tremper Trojans were dealt a 96-48 defeat at the hands of the Racine Park Panthers. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Racine Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zareontae Gwinn, who went 10-for-16 en route to 26 points along with seven assists and six boards. Those seven assists gave Gwinn a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxson Moss, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Kenosha Tremper's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Racine Park, the victory (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenosha Tremper will host Beloit Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Racine Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kenosha Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
