Softball Recap: Durand Comes Up Short

Durand fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Lena-Winslow on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 3rd.

Durand's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lena-Winslow, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coming up, Durand will square off against Pearl City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Lena-Winslow, they will face off against Argyle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
