It was a good run, but the Lab University Prep Lab Rats unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 89-82 to NC GBB Academy National. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Lab University Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Aukuso, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Juwann Argant, who scored 22 points.

Lab University Prep's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for NC GBB Academy National, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Lab University Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Winston-Salem Christian National knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 games -- so hopefully the Lab Rats like a good challenge. NC GBB Academy National does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
