Basketball Recap: Ty Killabrew's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Indianola Academy over Carroll Academy

Indianola Academy lost against Carroll Academy back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Colonels fell 51-42 to the Rebels. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Indianola Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ty Killabrew, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Tristen Bradshaw, who posted seven points and eight boards.

Indianola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Carroll Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Indianola Academy and Carroll Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Colonels see the court they'll take on North Delta at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for Carroll Academy, their break will end when they face Delta Streets Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 16, 2026.
