Volleyball Recap: Saratoga Takes a Loss

Saratoga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Los Altos Eagles. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 13, 2024, but that streak is no more.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Los Altos scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-17.

Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Los Altos, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saratoga will take on rival Wilcox at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Los Altos is set to square off against their familiar foe Gunn at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
