Soccer Game Preview: Mead vs. Northridge

The Mead Mavericks will head out on the road to face off against the Northridge Grizzlies at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mead's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Skyline 1-0. The victory continues a trend for Mead in their matchups with Skyline: they've now won six in a row.

Mead's one-goal win came courtesy of Katy Adler, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Northridge made easy work of Roosevelt on Thursday and carried off a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for Northridge, who have now won three matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Northridge and bumps their season record up to 4-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two contests. As for Mead, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
