Soccer Recap: Roma Takes a Loss

Roma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots, falling 3-0. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Gladiators it sure didn't stay that way.

Roma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roma will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Palmview at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, they will take on Martin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
