Northridge and Viewmont are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Knights will challenge the Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northridge has given up an average of 10.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Northridge is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 18-6 to Bonneville.

Northridge saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Butte, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Butte also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another was Braylynn McClellan, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Viewmont came up short against Box Elder on Tuesday, falling 17-2. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Viewmont, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Northridge took their win against Viewmont when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
