Basketball Recap: Nebraska Christian Wins Going Away Against Shelby-Rising City

Nebraska Christian won the last time they faced Shelby-Rising City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Nebraska Christian Eagles strolled past the Shelby-Rising City Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 48-33.

When it comes to explaining why Shelby-Rising City lost, don't look at Taya Pinneo. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points and three steals. That was a full 48.5% of Shelby-Rising City's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Olivia Frederick also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
