Baseball Recap: Eastern Alamance Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eastern Alamance challenged Seaforth on Thursday. The Eastern Alamance Eagles fell just short of the Seaforth Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern Alamance saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kasen Mcginnis, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. John Wittig also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Eastern Alamance's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Seaforth, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Eastern Alamance will take on Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seaforth, they will challenge Chapel Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
