Basketball Recap: Prouty Find Success

Prouty won the last time they faced Uxbridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Prouty Panthers came out on top against the Uxbridge Spartans by a score of 64-53.

Uxbridge lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Thatcher Sweeney, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was James Sanford, who scored 17 points.

Prouty's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Uxbridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prouty will head out to square off against Northbridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Northbridge will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Prouty surely won't give up without a fight. Uxbridge has already played their next match (against Leicester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
