Annie Wright had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They claimed a resounding 68-27 win over the Lincoln Abes. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Abes are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Annie Wright's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points per game. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Annie Wright will be playing at home against Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Annie Wright knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge. As for Lincoln, they and Gig Harbor will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
