Recap: Hayfork Timberjacks vs. Tulelake Honkers

The Hayfork Timberjacks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 87-59 victory over Tulelake on the road. Hayfork has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Levi Cavalli, who almost dropped a triple-double on 33 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Daniel Kasper was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Hayfork, bringing their record for this year to 16-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Tulelake, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.

Hayfork will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Big Valley is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Tulelake, they will head out on the road to square off against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Happy Camp focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Thursday.
