Softball Recap: Pullman Extends Winning Streak to Six

Pullman extended their winning streak to six on Saturday, bumping them up to 9-1. They beat the North Central Wolfpack by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 26-4. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Taylor Cromie was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 5-for-5. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March of 2025. Lily Wheatley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Pullman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .689. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .538 that North Central posted.

As for North Central, their record is now 0-11. They have struggled against Pullman recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

On North Central's side, Ruth Rilometa made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Pullman has already played their next contest, a 14-1 victory against West Valley on the 20th. As for North Central, they will take on Deer Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stags have averaged an impressive 14.5 runs per game this season.
