Baseball Recap: Potlatch Victorious

Potlatch is still undefeated this season after their game against Northwest Christian School on Saturday, but Northwest Christian School came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Loggers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crusaders, sneaking past 5-3. That's two games straight that the Loggers have won by exactly two runs.

Potlatch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jameson Morris, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was Morris' first of the season.

Potlatch's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Northwest Christian School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potlatch will challenge Troy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Christian School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newport at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
