Soccer Recap: Escambia Takes a Loss

Escambia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walton Braves.

Escambia hit Walton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Henry Wenzara, Angel Saucedo-Galvan, Hans (Alex) Pluntke, and Jackson Perkins.

Escambia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Walton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Escambia will square off against Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Escambia is facing Pensacola at the right time seeing as Pensacola is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Walton, they will take on Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season.
