Volleyball Recap: Wilson Central Takes a Loss

Wilson Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Smyrna Bulldogs. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Wilson Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Smyrna, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-13.

Wilson Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Smyrna, they will square off against Cookeville at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
