The biggest upset of the week belonged to Linfield Christian, who took down 560th ranked Aquinas, 47-36. Austin Hall threw for 296 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 24 yards in the win.
The Lions moved up to 741 from 779 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ambassador. Linfield Christian was able to make move up by defeating the Falcons 47-36.
Romero Flores was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 31 carries, he ran for 253 yards as Aquinas bested Aquinas.
Zach Chesser made the biggest impact on defense this week as Calvary Murrieta topped Arrowhead Christian. The senior grabbed two interceptions.
Chesser provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Warriors beat the Eagles. He completed 11 passes for 140 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 186 yards. Chesser's favorite target this week was Trysten Taylor, who caught three passes for 41 yards.
Crowell was the best wideout in the league this week as the Lions defeated Chris Ybarra's team. Crowell racked up four receptions for 144 yards. Logan Wakefield helped Linfield Christian's passing attack out by catching three balls for 64 yards.
On the ground, the Falcons' Flores has rushed for 2002 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Christian Dirksen. The Ontario Christian star has 27 catches for 633 yards.
Linfield Christian's Wakefield needs only 85 yards against Malibu next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Wakefield has rushed for 915 yards on 168 carries so far this year.
Ontario Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Western Christian, 58-14. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Knights.
