Soccer Recap: Marlboro County Comes Up Short at Home Against Waccamaw

Marlboro County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 9-0 to the Waccamaw Warriors on Wednesday.

The win was the fourth in a row for Waccamaw, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlboro County will challenge Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waccamaw, they will take on North Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waccamaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
