Softball Recap: Sayreville Comes Up Short

After flying high against South Brunswick on Monday, Sayreville came back down to earth. The Bombers fell just short of the East Brunswick Bears by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Bombers haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sayreville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for East Brunswick, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Sayreville will head out on the road to challenge Woodbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Brunswick, they will be playing at home against Old Bridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
