Almont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yale Bulldogs. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Raiders' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Almont's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Yale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

While Almont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
