Volleyball Game Preview: Genoa-Hugo Pirates vs. Cheyenne Wells Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Genoa-Hugo Pirates and the Cheyenne Wells Tigers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Genoa-Hugo will be strutting in after a victory while Cheyenne Wells will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Genoa-Hugo earned a 3-1 win over Byers.

Genoa-Hugo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Haxtun.

Cheyenne Wells now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Genoa-Hugo, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
