            Softball Recap: Plainfield Quakers vs. Whiteland Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Plainfield's game  on Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   7-3  victory over the Whiteland Warriors. The Quakers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Kami Arnett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

 On the hitting side, Plainfield got a big performance out of  Krista Haberkorn, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  Haberkorn a new career-high.  Sydney Sauri also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Plainfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  games.
Plainfield's victory was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Whiteland,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-3 record.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Plainfield beat the Warriors by a score of  12-1 on Wednesday.
