Basketball Recap: Hitchcock Skates Past East Bernard with Ease

Hitchcock won the last time they faced East Bernard and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hitchcock Bulldogs blew past the East Bernard Brahmas, posting a 71-32 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Brahmas are ranked 1167th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hitchcock is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for East Bernard, they moved to 9-13 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Hitchcock will face off against Boling at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for East Bernard, they will take on Van Vleck at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
