Volleyball Game Preview: Padua Franciscan Bruins vs. Aurora Greenmen

The Padua Franciscan Bruins will challenge the Aurora Greenmen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Padua Franciscan comes in on three and Aurora on six.

Padua Franciscan saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Roosevelt.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Padua Franciscan took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7, 25-9.

Padua Franciscan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ali Bradford, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Bradford has posted since back in September. Giulia Reginelli was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Aurora made easy work of Lake on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Padua Franciscan's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Aurora, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.
