Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ottumwa on Tuesday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Railsplitters came up short against the Roosevelt Roughriders on Thursday, falling 5-0. The defeat continues a trend for Lincoln in their meetings with Roosevelt: they've now lost five in a row.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Roosevelt, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will square off against Urbandale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against A-D-M at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
