Recap: Post Falls Trojans vs. Lake City Timberwolves
The Post Falls Trojans suffered their biggest loss since November 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 83-47 defeat at the hands of Lake City. Post Falls has struggled against Lake City recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Post Falls still got an impressive performance from Brooklynn Brennan, who scored 19 points along with five assists and two steals. That was a full 40.4% of Post Falls' points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Myckenzee Mitley, who scored 13 points.
Post Falls' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10. As for Lake City, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
Post Falls will head out on the road to take on Coeur d'Alene at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Coeur d'Alene will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Lake City will take on Lewiston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewiston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Lake City is ranked first).
