Volleyball Recap: Strafford's Winning Streak Snapped at 15 Games

It was a good run, but Strafford unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats by a score of 3-2. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Strafford took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 26-28, 17-25, 25-23, 15-4.

Strafford's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Payten Coulter, who had 12 digs, and Brooklynne Lumley, who had ten digs and two assists.

Strafford's defeat dropped their record down to 17-2-2. As for Logan-Rogersville, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Strafford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Buffalo on the 30th. As for Logan-Rogersville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Branson on the 30th.
