Basketball Recap: Fairview's Winning Streak Snapped at Nine Games

It was a good run, but Fairview unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a hard 69-55 fall against the Cashion Wildcats. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 58-54.

Fairview's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Cashion, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Fairview and Cashion should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Fairview (ranked 101st) will meet Chisholm (ranked 237th) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairview is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Cashion will square off against Watonga at 8:00 p.m. on Friday up 248 places (90 vs. 338).
