On Sunday Eyan Valadez almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, nine boards, and 11 assists, good enough to set a new career-high in assists in the process. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. This year, he has averaged 20.6 points, 2.8 steals, and 5.8 assists.

Valadez and Friends Academy will head out on the road to challenge Lawrence on Saturday. The Quakers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Golden Tornadoes, probably because Valadez had a solid game then too: he posted 16 points and five rebounds.
