The Lake Mills L-Cats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ashwaubenon Jaguars on Saturday. The L-Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lake Mills was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ashwaubenon work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-12.
Ashwaubenon found their leader in underclassman Ashley Woodworth, who had eight digs and 17 assists.
Lake Mills' loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Ashwaubenon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-20.
Lake Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ashwaubenon, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Xavier at 7:00 p.m. Xavier is coming into the match with five straight victories at home, so Ashwaubenon will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
