Volleyball Recap: Longmeadow Falls Short Against Ranked Southington

Longmeadow is ranked highly in their home state and on Sunday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Southington. The Lancers fell 2-0 to the Blue Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Sunday.

This is the second loss in a row for Longmeadow and nudges their season record down to 14-2. As for Southington, their win bumped their record up to 12-9-3.

Longmeadow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Westfield on the 14th. As for Southington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Newington on the 14th.
