Volleyball Recap: Chardon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on Tuesday, Chardon came back down to earth. The Hilltoppers fell 3-1 to the Berkshire Badgers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 1st.

The final score came out to 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Chardon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Berkshire, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chardon will take on rival Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Berkshire is set to square off against their familiar foe Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
