Volleyball Recap: Chambers/Wheeler Central Comes Up Short

Chambers/Wheeler Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Central Valley Cougars. The Renegades were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7.

Paige Schlenger paced Chambers/Wheeler Central's offense, picking up two kills. Schlenger got some help from Braelynn Schlenger and her three assists.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Central Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Chambers/Wheeler Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Wausa on the 9th. Central Valley has also already played their next matchup (against Elba), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
